Cannabis Branding, Marketing, Strategy & Consulting
Meet Cannabuzz™ NYC:
We market legal marijuana for a new generation of consumer. We work with entrepreneurs as well as corporations switching their focus from agriculture to cannabis culture, and startups focusing on the legal marijuana industry. Our clients include physicians and medical practices, marijuana advocates, manufacturers of cannabis or CBD infused beauty products, skincare, infused product manufacturers including water and edibles.
Why cannabis? Cannabis is widely recognized as the fastest growing industry in the world, and with legalization of sales for recreational and medicinal use in many states, it’s also one of the fastest growing marketplaces for entrepreneurs and corporations looking to expand or rebrand.
According to Pew Research, Americans favoring legalizing the use of marijuana continues to increase with 57% of U.S. adults saying the use of marijuana should be made legal, while 37% say it should be illegal – an almost complete reversal of only a decade ago.
If you’re intrigued with the idea of legal marijuana and have an idea for a business, we’d love to work with you.
Cannabis by the numbers: In 2016 alone, legal sales of marijuana grew 30%, reaching $6.7 billion with a large part of the growth due to the legalization in many states of cannabis use for both medical and recreational use. But legalized marijuana is about more than the tired tropes of stoners grateful for a legal smoke. Medical marijuana helps people with medical conditions ranging from cancer to chronic pain, while legalized marijuana sales mean taxable income and government benefits. According to an article in the Motley Fool, in 2016 alone, Colorado earned just under $200 million in tax revenue from legal marijuana sales, much of which will go to fund the state’s school system.
If you’re already working within the industry but need help with defining or refining your brand or coming up with a charitable partnership or angle, Cannabuzz NYC is here here to help.
Why now? In July 2014, New York became the 23rd state in the U.S. to legalize medical marijuana. In January 2016, New York State Senator Liz Krueger introduced the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act , with the hopes of making the recreational use of cannabis legal in New York.
If you’re trying to set up a business but unsure of how to brand or market yourself or your product, Cannabuzz NYC is here here to help.

We’re marketing, branding and promotions experts, but we’re more than that – we’re an idea agency. We help you create a business or movement with your own idea, or we brainstorm to help you figure out ways to make your concept more interesting, viable, profitable and amazing. And now we’re taking our talents to the cannabis industry. And in case you’re wondering, while the legalization of cannabis in New York inspired us, we’ve been consulting with cannabis related companies, dispensaries and medical professionals across the country, for over two years with a specialization in California and Colorado.
We believe in the legalization of medical marijuana and CBD infused treatments since we’ve seen loved ones suffering from the effects of chemotherapy denied any legal avenues of accessing medical marijuana which may have helped alleviate their suffering.
